Program Overview

Nonprofit Leadership Drivers is a curated mastermind experience for executive directors and CEOs ready to grow, connect, and lead with clarity and confidence. Founded by Elle Benson, CEO of Nonprofit Leadership LLC, this peer-driven program offers a confidential, high-impact space for nonprofit leaders to step away from the chaos, sharpen their leadership, and engage in transformative conversations with others who get it.

The Value of Joining

  • Confidential Connection: A judgment-free zone to talk candidly about challenges and wins.

  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Tap into the collective brainpower of peers tackling similar issues.

  • Real-Time Relevance: Focused sessions on what matters now—from managing burnout to navigating board dynamics to scaling impact.

  • Ripple Effect: Healthier, more empowered leaders drive stronger, more sustainable communities.

Why It Matters

Running a nonprofit is rewarding—but also isolating, exhausting, and complex. Between fundraising, staff management, board relations, and community expectations, today’s nonprofit leaders are stretched thinner than ever.

Nonprofit Leadership Drivers exists to change that.

We believe strong leadership is the single most powerful driver of nonprofit impact—and that leaders need each other to stay energized, creative, and aligned. By investing in the growth of nonprofit executives, we’re creating a ripple effect across the sector: healthier leaders → stronger organizations → more vibrant communities.

This program isn’t just about professional development—it’s about professional sustainability. And it's positioning Middle Tennessee as a national leader in executive support, peer learning, and sector resilience.

  • Executive Directors and CEOs of nonprofits who are ready to invest in themselves, build meaningful peer relationships, and engage in honest, high-level conversation about leadership.

  • Nope.! This is a curated, closed group designed for depth, trust, and transformation—not surface-level introductions. Think of it as having five coaches who are walking the same path.

  • Pit crews (curated groups of 5-6) will meet in-person for three to four hours per month.

Additionally, each year pit crews will go on retreat for deeper connection and restoration.

  • This isn’t a webinar series or a seminar. It’s a long-term investment in you—focused on personal sustainability, professional growth, and peer accountability. It’s co-led by others who understand the sector from the inside and is built to create a tangible ripple effect across organizations.

  • Stronger decision-making, deeper resilience, better boundaries, renewed energy, and a powerful network of peers cheering you on. Imagine higher levels of confidence, creativity, and clarity in in your role.

  • The pilot program is invitation-only. Fall 2025 applications will open for January 1, 2026 membership. Email Elle Benson at elle@nonprofit-leadership.com to get on the list.
